2 .Hell Rotogravure Engraving Stylus Precautions for use and cleaning
Since everyone knows that diamond is very hard, it seems a bit overly cautious to warn people not to touch the blade with their fingers or any textiles. However, even a slight contact can cause the damage to the needle mentioned above, rendering the needle unusable. If we take a pyramid as an example, it will be clearer.

Normally, we don't need to touch the diamond. When using HELL's electric engraving tools installation device to install or remove the electric engraving tools, you can avoid touching the diamond part.
Unless it is checked with a microscope and confirmed to be necessary, it should be cleaned. The vacuum drawer device on the HELL machine can prevent the accumulation of copper chips.

When a Hell Rotogravure Engraving Stylus is used on an electric engraving machine for a period of time, it will wear and tear, thus changing its geometric shape.

Normal wear is shown in the figure. After many reasons have been analyzed: the wear of the Hell Rotogravure Engraving Stylus is often on both sides of the needle tip or on the part beyond the needle tip. This is related to the structure of diamond.

Diamond has different crystal structures, the most common are octahedron and dodecahedron, and very few are cubic.

The change in the shape of the electric engraving needle tip will affect the shape of the dots and the printing effect.
To prevent the needle wear from affecting the printing, the Helioklischograph machine has an electronic trimming compensation function. If the deviation caused by wear exceeds its trimming ability, a new needle must be replaced.
